Requests for the baptism of children or adults who live in the parish should be made to the Rector on 01622 758 704, who will arrange to come and see you.
Baptism is a mark of a desire to follow Christ and to belong to the church. If a baptism is to be arranged, it would normally take place within the Hosanna! service which begins at 9.30am. Not all such services are available to include baptisms and, while all requests for specific dates will be considered, we cannot promise that any particular date will be available.
A short course of preparation for the parents of children to be baptised, or a longer course for adults or older children wishing to be baptised, will need to be undertaken before the service.
For those who choose not to proceed with the baptism of their child, there is an alternative service of Thanksgiving available which involves less preparation and committment.
