Service Times

Here at St Nicholas we have a range of services, Traditional and Modern, Loud and Quiet, and hope that everyone will find a service they enjoy.

Bags with quiet toys are available at the back of church for children up to 6+ years. An attendance award scheme is available for all children under 16 attending normal services (excluding parade services and baptisms).

Sunday

8.00am - Holy Communion
A quiet service of Communion. (1st & 3rd Sunday of the month)
9.30am - Hosanna!
An informal service (lasting about 45 minutes) for all ages together. On the second Sunday of the month, it will also include a simple celebration of Holy Communion. Not on 5th Sunday.
10am-11am - Refreshments
From 10am, refreshments are served in the Church Hall. This gives an opportunity for those arriving for the 11am service to meet with those who have attended the 9.30 service. All are encouraged and welcome to share in this important time of fellowship across the congregations. FIFTH SUNDAY only after-service refreshments.
11am
A traditional form of service with modern language and hymns. Holy Communion is celebrated every week except 2nd Sunday of month. FIFTH SUNDAY 10am combined worship

Wednesday

10.00am - Holy Communion
Often called an 'oasis of peace' in a busy week.
