Service Times
Here at St Nicholas we have a range of services, Traditional and Modern, Loud and Quiet, and hope that everyone will find a service they enjoy.
Bags with quiet toys are available at the back of church for children up to 6+ years. An attendance award scheme is available for all children under 16 attending normal services (excluding parade services and baptisms).
Sunday
- 8.00am - Holy Communion
- A quiet service of Communion.
- 9.30am - Hosanna!
- An informal service (lasting about 45 minutes) for all ages together. On the third Sunday of the month, it will also include a simple celebration of Holy Communion.
- 10.15am - Refreshments
- From 10.15am, refreshments are served in the Church Hall. This gives an opportunity for those arriving for the 10.45 service to meet with those who have attended the 9.30 service. All are encouraged and welcome to share in this important time of fellowship across the congregations.
- 10.45am
- A traditional form of service with modern language and hymns. Holy Communion is celebrated every week except 3rd Sunday of month.
- 5.30pm - Come and Praise (Second Sunday of the month ONLY)
- A very informal time of worship together with our band leading the music.
Wednesday
- 10.00am - Holy Communion
- Often called an 'oasis of peace' in a busy week.
